Participants are from the government, utilities and academic. However, their level of work is at different stages. EGAT, MEA, PEA was involved in the meeting to clarify there Smart grid strategy and current situation. It was suggested that EGAT has 10-year plan while PEA has 15-year plan and MEA with up to 40-year plan, working group establishment was suggested and Executive paper to be proposed to the Ministries.
Currently technologies in Thailand conform to IEC standards. Moreover, Chulalongkorn University is currently the technical advisor for PEA and MEA.
