Following the success achieved in 2018, the Workshop “Thailand: Path to Aerospace” makes its return with an enriched program to give its participants an even more comprehensive understanding on how to become a qualified aerospace supplier.The 2019 Workshop & B2B edition is co-organized by WHA Group and Italian Aerospace Network (IAN), co-promoted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) and Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) and honorably supported by the Eastern Economic Corridor office of Thailand (EEC) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). The workshop program is specifically tailored to match the companies’ interests with internationally recognized experts to cover all of the main topics a company should consider when entering the aerospace industry. The B2B meetings’ session (20 minutes for each meeting) between pre-registered Thai delegates and speakers to create an initial point of contact and establish direct communication channel. Workshop Guidelines The morning session is dedicated to an insightful agenda of speakers who bring their know-how and experience to the participants. Key-areas of interest are then covered by selected international speakers who travel to Thailand from all over the world to: present the trends of the aviation and aerospace industry as well as specific opportunities for the companies in international markets (and how to grab them); provide an analysis of the management system related to aerospace industry that can increase the companies’ reliability in the process of becoming a strategic supplier; explain how to recruit and attract executives to manage aerospace programs, partnerships across the globe and make the companies a more experienced aerospace player; describe how to be aligned to the EASA approach in the quality and compliance monitoring system, initial airworthiness, continuing airworthiness, air operation, training, safety management system, avionic integrated system, maintenance, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO); engage the global forefront of technology with high-reliability solutions for safety critical applications, the emerging field of Internet of Things and the world of instrumentation for space and scientific applications. The morning session ends with a dedicated Q&A session. Speakers and participants take then part to a networking lunch. B2B Meetings’ Indications The afternoon session aims to give the participants and foreign speakers the exclusive opportunity to sit down and have a preliminary 30-minutes face-to-face conversation about topics of interest, exchange business cards and present each-others. FRANCE - The 53rd International Paris Air Show A delegation of Thai Companies to France is to be organized in June 2019. The 53rd International Paris Air Show will take place from 17 to 23 June 2019 at the Exhibition Center of Le Bourget, a few kilometers North of Paris. It will bring together all the players in this global industry around the latest technological innovations. The first four days of the Show will be reserved for trade visitors, followed by three days open to the general public. It is a great platform for new industry comers to get in contact with potential clients and partners. (COMAC), Aero Engine (Group) Corporation of China (AECC), Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) and China Promotion Ltd. (CP).
