The 2019-2020 European Business Position Paper
On November 29th, 2019 Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) attended the official launch event of the 2019-2020 European Business Position Paper: Trade and Investment Issues and Recommendations in Support of a Competitive Economy in Thailand. The event was presided by H.E. Mr. Prinkka Tapiola, Ambassador Delegation of the European Union to Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Sansern Samalapa, Vice Minister of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce. The European Business Position Paper is the unified work of EABC’s twelve working groups contributing to the improvement of European-Thai economic relations, trade and investment and covering a board range of industries.
THE 1st INTERNATIONAL AIR RAIL TRANSPORT SUMMIT 2019
On 20th November 2019, Thai-European Business Association attended in the opening event of the 1st INTERNATIONAL AIR RAIL TRANSPORT SUMMIT 2019. The event was also joined by Thailand’s Ministry of Transport (MOT) and the Italian Embassy to Thailand, as well as supported by organisations such as the Railways of Thailand (SRT), Mass Rapid Transit Authority Thailand (MRTA), Thailand’s Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and planning (OTP), Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA), the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (TICC), the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) etc.

On October 30th, 2019, Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) had the opportunity to meet with Deputy Director-General, Mr. Aditad Vasinonta of the Office of Industrial Economics (OIE), Ministry of Industry with main discussions focus on the ASEAN Automotive Products MRA Acceleration, Automotive Trade Opportunities in ASEAN, EU-Thailand FTA Negotiations, Emission Standard and Road safety. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Michelin, Robert Bosch, Triumph Motorcycles, TUV Rheinland, and Schaeffler Manufacturing.
InnoCon Bangkok 2019
On October 22nd, 2019, Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) attended a press conference organized by Project Planning Service Public Co.,LTD (PPS) on the INNOCON Bangkok 2019, a part of the International Air Rail Transport summit at Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport.
BMW Manufacturing Tour 2019
On October 10th, 2019 TEBA has successfully organized the BMW Manufacturing Tour at Amata City Industrial Estate Rayong. We have welcomed over 30 participants from thai automotive and auto parts industry. The plant first opened its doors in 2000. Between 2013-2016, BMW Manufacturing Thailand has been the only one of its kind—worldwide—to house production of three different brands under one roof: BMW, MINI, and Motorrad. On October 8th 2019, Thai – European Business Association (TEBA) held the Exclusive Dinner Talk with Department of Trade Negotiations (DTN), Ministry of Commerce at Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21. Members of TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with Deputy Director-General, Ms.Kejpiroon Kohsuwan of the DTN with main discussion focus on the future Thailand-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in the coming years. The 7th ASEAN-EU Business Summit
On September 9th, 2019 TEBA was invited to attend the 7th ASEAN-EU Business Summit at the Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel, with many excellent key note address by H.E. Dr. Uttama Savanayana, Minister of Finance for the Kingdom of Thailand, in which he focused on the need to help ASEAN with the finance of infrastructure and also planning for aging societies to avoid the middle income trap. Panels were held on the development of the Digital Economy in ASEAN and “Financing ASEAN’s Future”.

On August 9th, 2019 Introduce new requirement AIAG – VDA FMEA manual has successfully taken place at Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong) Office. On March 21st, 2019, Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) with WHA Industrial Development PLC, Italian Aerospace Network (IAN), Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) organized the workshop “2019 Workshop & B2B on Thailand Path to Aerospace”, at Pattana Golf and Sport Resort, Chonburi. Ms. Siyaphas Chantachairoj, Director – Corporate Marketing, WHA Corporation PCL, welcomed the participants who were given exposure in the aviation and aerospace markets, trend and opportunities in the Thai aerospace industry.
