January 26th, 2017 TEBA meets with the Minister of Transport, Mr. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith who spoked to TEBA about the overview of the Ministry of Transport for the year 2017 and actively promoted their new goals while also enthusing TEBA members with their new initaitives.
On the 10th of January, TEBA and its distinguished members were one of the first invited by the Customs Department of Thailand to help them introduce their new “Customs Alliances” initiative to the world.
On the 25th of July, TEBA President Joerg Laatsch and alongside other TEBA members paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal to Thailand, H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto. Of major focus is the platform for our members to advocate for policy improvements tackling practical obstacles faced by European and Thai manufacturers in Thailand.
On the 26th of July, TEBA Delegates LED by Joerg Laatsch, TEBA President, met with Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, at the Official Government House.
On June 13th, 2016 , TEBA met with TISI to discuss technicalities & how TISI can support Thai-European platform in the future.
Mr. Segsarn Trai-ukos, Country Director of Michelin Siam and Member to the Board of the TEBA, was at a panel discussion on ‘ASEAN’s New Challenge: Creating a Balance between Investment and Sustainability’ at an international conference on “ASEAN Investment Policy Towards Sustainable Development Workshop”.
On October 12, 2015 TEBA had a highly beneficial meeting with the new Minister of Industry Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang and Khun Sontirat Sontijirawong, Advisor to the Minister of Industry. It was considered to be a very valuable meeting which answered many concerns and opened many doors for future cooperation and benefits.
On July 13, 2015 TEBA had a highly beneficial meeting with the Minister of Transport. The Meeting was highly beneficial to both the government officials and as well as the delegation of TEBA members who had requested the meeting.
On June 8th, 2015, TEBA, accompanied by a delegation of members, met with the Minister of Industry, Chakramon Phasukavanich to update the ministry on TEBA activities as well as to give members the unique opportunity to voice their concerns and share their recommendations.
TEBA’s World Class Automotive Supplier Seminar (WCAS) at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 on Thursday, April 23rd 2015, gave us great insight into the Lean Manufacturing concepts between the eastern and western automotive sectors.
