On October 30th, 2019, Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) had the opportunity to meet with Deputy Director-General, Mr. Aditad Vasinonta of the Office of Industrial Economics (OIE), Ministry of Industry with main discussions focus on the ASEAN Automotive Products MRA Acceleration, Automotive Trade Opportunities in ASEAN, EU-Thailand FTA Negotiations, Emission Standard and Road safety. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Michelin, Robert Bosch, Triumph Motorcycles, TUV Rheinland, and Schaeffler Manufacturing.
On August 9th, 2019 Introduce new requirement AIAG – VDA FMEA manual has successfully taken place at Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong) Office. Members of the TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Thana Alapach of the TISI with main discussions focus on TISI’s policies and their future national strategy for standardization. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Bosch, Continental, Czech Trade Bangkok, Man Truck & Bus Asia Pacific, Michelin, Mercidedes Benz, Mercidedes Benz Manufacturing, Triump Motorcycle, TUV Rheinland, TUV SUD and Saint Gobain.
On March 7th, 2019, Thai-European Business Association held exclusive dinner talk with the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) at Pullman Grande Bangkok Sukhumvit from 18.00 – 20.00 hrs. Members of the TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Chokedee Kaewsang of the BOI with main discussions focus on BOI’s incentives for investments and their future strategy for Electric Vehicle (EV) and the the Automotive Industry. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Continental, Czech Trade Bangkok, Michelin, ThaiGerTec, Umicore Autocat and TUV Rheinland.
On March 11th, TEBA together with EABC Automotive Working Group have participated in the consulting meeting with PCD Director-General, Pralong Damrongthai on solution on PM2.5 and Euro 5 Regulations. The meeting was attended by companies such as Bosch, Continental, CNH Industrial Services, DHL Supply Chain, Michelin, ThaiGerTec, Umicore Autocat and TUV Rheinland.
Thai-European Business Association held internal meeting with the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT) on March 1st, 2019 from 15.00 – 17.00 hrs. Members of the TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with President, Dr. Yossapong Laoonual of the EVAT with main discussions regarding electric vehicle (EV) roadmap and framework including the development of the automotive industry. The meeting was attended by companies such as Bosch, Continental, Mercedes Benz, Michelin, P.C.S Holding, TUV Rheinland and Schaeffler.
On March 11th, Thai-European Business Association was invited in attend the press conference and was received certificate of participation from the Department of Land Transport under the department’s Road Safety campaign. Director-General for Technical Affairs, Mr. Kamol Buranapong has launched Road Safety Campaign ahead of Songkran who spoke that the DLT is ensuring the preparedness of facilities, promoting road safety practices during the upcoming Songkran holidays.
