ASEAN is realising circular economy through the adoption of the Framework of Circular Economy for the ASEAN Economic Community in 2021 and the rolling out of its implementation plan and work programme in 2023. It is expected to enhance ASEAN’s long-term economic resilience and unlock more opportunities.
