Responsible Business in Thailand: a business exhibition (on August 15th, 2023)

The Thomson Reuters Foundation is hosting a Responsible Business Exhibition in collaboration with Thai-European Business Association (TEBA), Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC), and European Chamber of Commerce Thailand (EABC). The event, aimed at the Thai private sector, focuses on adapting to changing legislative and regulatory landscapes regarding responsible business practices, particularly remediation.
It will address incoming global legislation, such as the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD) and Reporting Directives (CSRD), and the German Supply Chain Act. The exhibition will showcase tools and services to help businesses comply with international regulations. The event will be followed by a multi-stakeholder conference on labor rights and ethical recruitment in Thailand. The exhibition and conference are part of the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s project ‘Combating human trafficking and modern slavery through ecosystem support in Thailand.’
